Bai Ze is a Chinese holy beast whose name translates into "White Marsh." There is a Japanese version of this Creatch that is known as Hakutaku or Kutabe.

It is a chimera like creature that looks like a white ox. It has nine eyes, three on its human-like head, and three on the heads that are on each side of its torso. It reaches to the size of a mountain. Basically any mountain. It's fricken big. Each head has two horns. It has about 17 mustaches, which doesn't even make sense with only having one mouth, but that's what they say. Some "experts" say there could be as many as 33 mustaches, others as few as 14 mustaches. Bai Ze was sometimes described as a mythical creature whose body resembles a hand and whose head is human. But it doesn't look like Master Hand from the Smash Bros series to us.

One of the most famous acccounts of a hakutaku comes from the legendary Yellow Emperor (2697-2597 BCE) of China. The emperor was performing an imperial tour of his lands, and in the east near the sea, he climbed a mountain and encountered a hakutaku. The two spoke, and the hakutaku told the emperor that in all of creation, there were 11,520 different kinds of yokai. The emperor had his subordinates record everything the hakutaku said, and it was preserved in a volume known as the Hakutaku-zu. This volume recorded each kind of yokai, along with what kind of evils they do, or disasters they bring, as well as how to deal with them - a sort of demonic disaster manual. Unfortunately, the Hakutaku-zu was lost long, long ago, and no surviving copies exist.
