Hermes is the Messenger of the gods in the Greek pantheon. He premiered in episode 5, Hermes a.k.a. It's Just A Prank, Bro

Description

Hermes is known as a greek god and a trickster, meaning he likes to pull a lot of pranks. As a newborn infant, he sneaked out of his crib and stole the cattle of Apollo, then crafted the first Lyre from the shell of a tortoise. Which is rather impressive for someone who was just born. His father, Zeus, was so impressed that he granted Hermes a place as one of his twelve supreme gods. As punishment for the guy who told Zeus about Hermes's pranks, Hermes turned the guy to stone. Just a prank. He stared on Tosh.0 once. He would sell weed to underage kids, but it would actually just be tea, and the kids would be too afraid to confront him about it. Another of his great pranks, was that he tied someone's shoelaces together, then the guy tripped and fell down dozens of flights of stares, breaking his neck in the process and becoming paralyzed. Hermes would visit him each day in the hospital and say "Just a prank, bro." Also, the implication.

Hermes invented the Olympics and participated in Athens 2004, getting bronze in Men's Tandem Volleyball with his partner, the ghost of Verne Troyer. Gold was taken by Phil Mickelson and Bret Michaels.

He is the messenger of the gods, having to literally run between the gods saying the messages they wanted to send. As revenge against Hermes's trickster ways, Zeus made him run a message for him saying the following:

"That bitch Hermes has to run this message down. What a sad-o."

Abilities

He has super human strength, durability, stamina, and, above all, speed. His speed surpasses that of all other Olympian gods or goddesses.

Tale

Zeus was cheating on Hera with Io, and asked Hermes to help. Zeus turns Io into a cow to make it seem like he's not cheating. Hera doesn't believe him, so she asks Zeus for the cow as a gift. Hera gives Argos, a hundred-eyed giant, to take the cow and keep it safe. Zeus asks Hermes to rescue cow Io. He puts Argos to sleep with beautiful music, then murders him to save the cow. Just a prank, bro. Hilarious. Hermes, not knowing how to turn Io back, just releases her into the wild as cow. After many years of spending time as a cow, Hera finally feels sorry for Io and turns her back to normal.
